I appologise I meant steel beasts pro not the original steel beasts, ( but i'm sure you probably knew which one I meant ) with regards to SH3 it sold very well, but its sequel ( SH4) did not, had UBI released constant upgrades including stuff such as graphics updates, new ships, better models, better stability, wolfpacks, proper weather, better simulation... ect. We could have had the sim or our dreams by now sure it might have cost us more but there's the rub. After all i forget what version of call of duty were on now isnt that really what their doing there.
Iam amazed at what the modding community have done with both silent hunter 3 & 4 but with no access to the SDK they are limited to what can be done. I personaly would have rather paid for several really good upgrades to Silent Hunter 3 over the last 5 years ( other than buying SH4 or SH5 ) which would of improved the game in many aspects keeping it up to date and addressing many of the gameplay and simulation issues.
