First, apologies to XabbaRus for my impertinence at naming this thread so, but there seems no other MillSab thread to add my post to. So, let the discussion begin.

Some of us have heard about the "French DWX", and maybe even a few have tried it (a tightlipped lot, if so), but only today did I obtain it after some kind pizan at betasom posted it to a fileshare site. (Why they aren't playing AlfaTau, I don't know) Actually, it may have been there for awhile, I just forgot to search the filename since a few months ago after a frustrated fruitless search.

You see, maybe it's my reputation (!), but registering at mille-sabords.com only got me deleted after a day or so (a no-yank policy?) and it appeared that you couldn't download it there otherwise. Yeah, sounds like maricosom with AlfaTau, but there I got approved, and AT3 is now hosted elsewhere anyhow.

So anyway, today I decide to do a new google search for the file name of the english version ("MillSab V2.71.US") and low and behold I see this .rar file link come up.

I open it, and feel LWAMI-rolled, because that's what it looks like. However, the file size matches mille-sabords' stated size. It appears to be a JSGME compatible package with no installer that you just extract to a MOD folder, or overwrite your basic DW install if you prefer. There's no readme, so I don't know what tweaks to LWAMI (3.09?) have been done (just new skins?), or if any file tweaks are necessary like RA.

9°) change of the skins of the akula and the hélix (comes from the MOD Reinforced alert)

10°) script for torpedo.

11°) carried 53cm 20nm

12°) envelope of detection of the mine approximately 200 yards

13°) addition of wreck sub sunk, tanker down; container ship down….To place as of the mines (minefield) the sub emits ping very weak with the broadband

14°) addition of satellite in crash landing mode, 1 for crash landing on the sea (it floats) the other for a terrestrial crash landing.

Anyhow, I mention it for my more learned colleagues to put through its paces, and to see if anyone can confirm the contents. That, and ask they not laugh too loud at any potential naiveté. (finally some french)
