Really like the update, in particular the the crew says "we've been detected" , "identifying target" etc but think may have compatibility issues with TMO, hopefully can be corrected/ One is the "yes, sir" gets stuck on a loop when click on the sonar command to give nearest warship bearing, which is highly necessary when evading during depth charge attack. Sonar man gets stuck on the Yes, sir loop, to the point I exited out and will restart patrol, fortunately it was first attack and not much time wasted.
When I hit the radar depth hot key, the voice says "planes on deep dive" seems to start the yes sir loop as well. |

Found out why i wasn't hearing "Rudder amidships".
The fault lies in the SO.dat in AnimGraphs file found in the Library Here's how to fix it.... Open SO.dat> State Entries> [6] Stalker_Idle_Execute_Order> Conditions> [11] Order> Actions> (0) PlayMsg.... Change ChE_K_,Rudder to ChE_K_,Rudder Amidships Delete (1) PlayNumber... or you'll hear "Rudder Amidships Zero" Repeat procedure for [16] Hunter (ChE_P_,Rudder)...and [26] Prey (ChE_S_,Rudder) Last edited by Canonicus; 05-14-21 at 09:37 AM. |

Ahoy vickers03..
![]() 1st off, loving the work you have put out & eagerly looking forward to further updates/work done. ![]() Have noted, like Bubblehead1980.. that 'odd' discrepancy with giving the order to go to 'radar depth', as well.. weird, as boat does as it should, which is to go to its radar depth.. yet strange hearing the guy saying dive planes set for deep dive... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Just notating it, not complaining, mind ya.. ![]() 1 other thing, & not sure if you would be the 1, to advise about it so as to figure out a solution or not, but.. have noted, using the "/' key, to order 'rudder amidship' basically zeroing out the rudder to not induce a turn either port or starboard.. seems to induce a weird, strange repeat in the text box... the 1 with: timestamp Chief: Radar depth timestamp weapons officer: torpedo in the water/torpedo impact/torpedo missed, Sir. For some odd reason, using that key, ends up with seeing: timestamp Helm Officer: Rudder amidships timestamp Helm Officer: Rudder amidships A double text input of the order being confirmed textually... yet... vocally, only hearing that order confirmed, just once... As I said, not sure if that should go to you, so as to figure out why it's doing so... or to send off a flash traffic message to the FotRS team... or who exactly... only 1 I know not to send that to, would of course be Ubi... If not you, then.. a 1k apologies & if you'd be so kind as to point Me in the right direction... will appreciate it.. just don't shoot Me or keel haul Me, good sir. ![]() ![]() Thanks. M. M. ![]()
