Generals is a good RTS.

It's just not a C&C game.

they really scrapped the bottom of the ****barrel with that one....

The whole game (graphics, effects, gameplay, music and voices) presents itself so dull and uninspiring...

I've only seen about 20 secs of the game before - and I don't like it. I'm currently playing C&C 3, and I think it's a decent game - better than C&C Tib. Sun, RA2 and RA3. Brings back a bit that old 1995 atmosphere. Too bad my old DOS version won't run anymore. Think I'll download the free Win95 version.
I really thought they were going in the right direction with C&C3. Wishful thinking.

I'm not surprised by how much C&C has degenerated. I stopped playing C&C 3 as soon as the scrin arrived. It was kinda like the moment JarJar arrives and everything goes to hell.
I hate the whole fast paced fluid arcade gameplay crap that all RTS games seem to want to do these days.
