Another nice to have detail but only if the damage is as JU88 suggested/ Otherwise it's a WOFTAM.
Give me less mucking about off the boat and more immersion on patrol over this sort of thing thanks. |

I'd rather just be presented with a static screen listing damaged items including an estimated repair time.
I'm not sure if in real life Kaleuns could choose what to repair or not to repair, but if that was the case, then the option to veto certain repairs would be also good. But a clickable 3D screen? In a flight sim, or car sim, where a) "you" inspect all this stuff yourself, and b) damage can be quite gory and thus fun to look at, then yes. But this is a sub sim. The Kaleun does not have to personally inspect every rivet as he has others to do this for him, and the chances of seeing any "gruesome" damage is not likely, for obvious reasons. ![]() |
