How many torpedo does it take to sink a yamato? Took me like 10 or 11 all hit at the center at about 20ft depth.

Takes about six to eight if you hit the ship along one side, spread out across her compartments. I like to rake her with a fairly evenly spaced bow to stern spread @ minimum depth to try & capsize her. The Yamato crew is really good at damage control & counter flooding though so sometimes it takes more & of course you have to allow for duds if you have them enabled like I do.
If you concentrate the torps in the same spot over & over it won't do as much damage & will enable the ship to absorb many more hits than it otherwise would.
