Because size matters my lil grasshopper, size matters.

I do not have any problem with a IIB because I know it has a decent range, torpedo load and I will be able to upgrade it with a better model later but driving a midget 3K miles to fire 2 torpedoes and then going back home...

I will spend all the war going back and forth! Well supposing I survive that much or is it that long? Ugh sorry English is not my first language as you can read.

English is not my mother language either but i try my best and so do you !
I think in real life i would prefer such smaller vessels.
Short patrols lead to longer visits in the bar for drinks!
Of course very vurneable but so were the u boats.
I think the psychological effect was much bigger in a uboat then on a schnell boot
But i know what you are saying. More torpedoes is more fun and stuff like that and u can go a little more further which gives better chances in finding a convoy.

I tried to attack a convoy at night with my schnellboot once and it was a terrible experience

Ahhh Europeans! Do the mexican way, bring your buzz with you so every time you sink a ship you celebrate, well if you miss then you celebrate too.

It's not a 'can't be done' idea.

What stopped this idea before was the external torps.
Nobody could figure out how to get it to work correctly.

Till now.

Everyday our understanding of the files involved grows.
And our imagination of how to use that knowledge
allows things never before done.

Thanks for pushing me a little further!

Well stormende we belgians were severely punished for doing that when we sailed with the american fleet in the arabian zone !
There were several ressuply ships supplying the fleet and the american ships were loaded with food and general use but the belgian ships were resupplied with BEER
But drinking in bad weather isn't pretty fun either because of all the swingin' you start to feel a little messed up trust me i know and NEVER EVER put some glasses on a table filled with something and then go away!

Back on topic, well i first want to get myself some regular experience too before getting this far so i first am going to try and make me my first ship the Dar Mlodziezy
I already contacted 2 people but i don't think they have logged in yet however.
Only time will tell i assume.

I use the blender software now at the moment.
It's quite difficult to master all the features now but when i'm getting more experienced in it i guess it will go much smoother then.

On second thoughts this blender stuff is just terrible i look for another one.
In other software i was actually able to create something easy with this not.
I want to use the software from autocad however but this costs a lot o
money and i want something free

I've a list of several free programs that do much of the
things you'll need to do sooner or later.

I'll round up the links to each and post them here.

All are free.

GLC Player
A nice program to view models.
Very easy to switch Textures with for on the fly Texture work.

Balancer Lite.
Not a bad program for optimizing Models.
Will help new Modelers keep the Faces count down.
