I remember the original well, packed a really big whallop at the time. Now they are remaking it as a series, may be worth a look.

Well, I watched it back then, at least sometimes. But today I think about it: terrible. A real soap opera. But that blond woman playing that rebel group leader - she really was a looker! [sigh]

Yeah she does. I always found that women in tv shows of that era wore way too much make-up though. Made them look like they were wearing warpaint...

I rember V had that really WTF ending where this little girl who was a halfbreed suddenly had omnipotent powers randomly and saved the world from utter destruction. It was like the writers couldn't figure out how to end it and just pulled it out of their ass in the last five minutes so they would have something for the director.
