Default new computer tomorrow - SO PUMPED

I'll be able to unbox her and start playing SH4 as soon as I get home from work tomorrow!

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16883113092

Picked up my retail copy of SH4 gold the other day. Kind of bummed tho, doesn't have the sweet map inside like SH3 did, just a ref card and disk.
I've been playing SH3 on and off on my trusty dell 4800 (p4 1.6, 768 RAM, Radeon 9600) for a longgg time. I've been waiting for this for a long time, SH4 looks soooo damn good.

Welcome to Subsim, Son! And your first visit to Subsim is a fine occasion for the last use of the old computer! Hope you enjoy SH4 a lot and be sure to ask questions here if you have any issues.

Biggest word of advice: SH4 is not SH3. It is quite different, while it looks reassuringly similar. Try to treat it like you're learning a brand new game and don't expect everything to work the same way. That way you'll enjoy the difference, not be frustrated by it.

Assuming you are from WI . North or South?

I can see why you're pumped to get your new rig. That's quite a step up!

Have Fun!!! (And check out the mods)

I'm originally from Menomonie (born in Chippewa Falls). Came back to WI a couple years back but in the North now.
