It looks like grass is starting to grow. Or a Meteor has hit the Atlantic causing all the sea water to rush away from the land, just moments before it cames crashing back a the speed of sound. (Just an Idea)

I think there are two possibilities:

1) The ice ages have suddenly returned: sea level has dropped 300 feet due to shift of water from the oceans into the newly nascent glaciers.

2) The mother of all tsunamis is approaching! Flee! Flee for your lives!

If your boat still is a ways from base, you can "fly" the free cam back to shore, and oftentimes when you do everything is flooded (esp. if you are in a rough sea).
