You mean something along the lines of the Bureau of Alchohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives losing substantial amounts of the the very thing they were supposed to in charge of enforcing bassackward federal code?

Why certainly. The ATF has lost something like 3,000 firearms in the last year, about 20 pounds of various explosives, and the alcohol and tobacco has been oddly dissapearing after new years celebrations from evidence lockers.

Seriously though, the U.S. gov't isn't much better at guarding all the stuff they're supposed to but somehow they get a free pass awhile we underlings get royal reamings for minor paperwork mistakes.

I'm thinking it was an inside job. I doubt the robbers would risk the guards to wake up at some point and find them loading up the weapons. :hmm:
