Mines are scripted into GWX.....a sudden catastrophic event, even at x64 would suggest a mine.

500km NW of Wilhelmshaven? Seems more like it was a collision rather than a mine at that distance. What year and month was it?

The distance is guesstimated, as i don't remember my exact location (somewhere
around quadant an66), because all of that happened in split second.

Well, I took a look at the Kriegsmarine grid map, AN66, and at the SH3 Mission Editor with GWX installed, and lookie there:
