Ah excellent, it looks like it's worked. Aside from a small graphical glitch which sometimes occurs with the navigation map when you look at it from the command room; it's a big improvement- for starters, the sonar guys actually do their job!


Yeah I'll probably play stock until the end of this career (just finished patrol 6 around Hartlepool in my Type IIA- most successful patrol yet with about 15,000 tonnage sunk consiting of two C2s and a coastal merchant). I'm gradually upping the realism (on 77% now) to help prep me for GWX which by the sounds of it, seems quite vicious.

Problem with SH3 is there is a never ending supply of entertainment from subsim and SH3 games....

Once you have learned the basics in the stock version of the game switch over to GWX. If you thought it was hard in the stock version, you will need counseling after GWX.
