I had my daughter in a mom & tot, play class located in a very affluent suburb of Chicago three years ago. The kids names, I had to sit there with a straight face for 40 minutes hearing old testament names being bantered about. I ended up needing stitches in my bottom lip when I heard " Ezikiel, its not nice to touch yourself that way...." :hmm:

At least with that name you can shorten it to something cool like Walter Mosely's character 'Easy' Rawlins.

A friend of mine who's a naval history buff didn't name his son for the biblical name Esau, but rather Iso, for Isoroku Yamamoto.:rotfl:

I don't know anything about Concrete, but Iso is currently 27 and makes a living training horses for rodeos and teaching 'troubled' kids how to ride. An real-life cowboy named Isoroku.

Naw, when you're Frank Zappas kid you have absolutely no hope for a normal life anyways, so you might as well go along with it...

No doubt the guy could play a mean guitar and was talented. But very eccentric style of music to say the least.

Indeed, my first name can be used as a derogatory term when refering to someone from a rural area, or to someone without manners. Still havent quite figured out what my parents were thinking naming me that, but meh, tis my name.
