Well, here are two.
(I'am not allowed to take any photos from the aircrafts inside the base, so I got them from the photo archive)

I've flown this CL 415 during the last summer to help put out the fires

Default Nice

Thanks for the pix.

Hey, the guy probably didn't have enough money to buy a Russian engine. Can't let a grand bird like that just sit and rust! It probably isn't the cost of the Russian engine, but the shipping costs that kills ya.

Always impresses me that no matter how large those airframes are, the cockpits are quite "snug".

No. Gig Harbor does, as does Arlington.

You have no idea - I've been in the cockpit of a B-1B. You wear that airplane, even though the thing is so large that you would think they have all the room in the world!

I probably took more picture of this plane than any other. Here are most of them:

The Tilt Rotor:

The exhaust system:

Is it me? Or does that exhaust look like a French Fry basket???:

The Jack Screw - That's one big jack screw!:

Default V-22 Osprey - Post #3

The roof of the aircraft is a mix of hydraulic lines and wires! What amazing mess of crammed in components! Must take a fortune of $$$ to build this thing!:

Default Demo's

I tried to capture some of the demo's, but I tell you, that is a hard thing to do without a tripod!!!! I even tried to take some basic video, but even that didn't turn out as well as I had hoped. Here is an F-15 doing a 360 degree turn in full afterburner - http://www.veoh.com/videos/v151938334kPncNYZ - Not very good vid. I had some sort of glare going on from the sun.

An F-15C in full burner:

A shame PF doesn't do airshows anymore. Saw the Blue Angles there for the first time as a kid when they flew Cougars and the last time when they flew F-18's.

And both times Speed and Sound wasn't a problem.

Those were the days.
