i would like to see the small shallow water patrol boats you see portrayed often in movies where they look like small torpedo boats armed only with mortars and guns for shoreline patroling.

not sure if its purely movie fiction or if they were real but i think these are not in the game
i must correct what i said before, i just assumed they had them but there are no true IJN pt boats in the game. there are only sub chasers and gun boat barges. the game files show they didnt include any that i can see.

japan had pt boats that looked like the torpedo boats most people think of but i guess the devs felt they werent worth including.

it would be great to have something like this PT 15 boat in the game: http://www.netmerchants.co.uk/produc...doboatpt15rare

You do realize that the first PT boat of that type was launched in 1970?

I can't find any references to motor torpedo boats in the Imperial Japanese Navy.

i didnt mean for that exact model to be used, i only meant it as a visual representation as to size and shape.

as for not seeing ijn pt boats anywhere, here are several to look at, many of which were in fact used in ww2 but i dont know if all of them were:
http://warships.web4u.cz/lode.php?la...MTB&trida=T+23 sadly there are very few pictures

unless the info is wrong, they show the type t 36 was launched in 1943 so according to that site they saw action in ww2 and since logic suggests the t 35 came out before the t 36, there must have been a previous version of the t 35 that was indeed in action in ww2
