Well, I knew a guy who knew a guy... I mentioned that my deck gun needed a bit more bang for my buck, and now I have one of the turrets on the deck of my IIB.

It's not what you know, but who you know...
Better still........It's what you know about who you know :p

Actually in time you'll find that the 'all-neutrals-in-a-convoy' is a one time thing; or at least a very rare one. The game has some controls for assigning ships that don't make sense, and I'm not sure anybody can fix them. There are lots of convoys full of good targets, and some of them even have not-so-bright escorts.

Give it time. You'll love it. And hate it.

The game is definitely much tougher than SH3 vanilla; but that being said it does try to reach the highest levels of realism that is possible with the coding options available.

Sure sometimes you'll scratch your head but take into consideration all those times you've mysteriously evaded a DD which you thought have you zero'ed in.

There are actually neutral convoys with a few belligerants and vice versa scripted into the game.

Came across one yesterday....24 neutrals and 4 Brits 9the smallest of them all at that).

The word 'baiting' has numerous meanungs, but in the context of forum posting it could mean:

1) To entice, especially by trickery or strategy.

2) To attack or torment, especially with persistent insults, criticism, or ridicule.

So far in each of my patrols I've seen convoys of 'Neutral' ships escorted by British warships. It was an Irish one in my last patrol! I cannot for the life of me see how this can be called realistic. Add to that the range and accuracy of sonar, which every escort I've met so far, has been equiped with makes me question the realism of the game. DCs wich are more accurate than those in SH II. I don't remember it being like this in the basic SH III.

I'm seriously tempted to roll back to the original game.
Ahoi

I guess you looking at HN12
3 British, 15 Norwegian, 8 Swedish, 1 Danish, 2 Finnish, 1 Estonian

Very realistic

Otto Kretschmer found same convoy and sunk the HMS Daring
