Not exactly, Falcon 4 Allied Force was compiled specifically for multicore cpu's.
If it was possibile for F4AF I see no reason (except laziness maybe) to not have a multi-core aware Black Shark simulation.

I didn't literally mean nobody, I know there are several of them. I knew of F4AF, Distant Guns is another that comes to mind. But the bigger design houses do seem to be kinda "lazy" in this regard.

It could just be that it is more difficult than we realize. Maybe their compilers aren't that great, maybe it's a total headache and brings all sorts of new compatibility issues up. Dunno.
