Okay........... sorry.

What I do when I encounter links like that in a thread is right-click on them and open them in a new Tab so it seemed like the right thing to do at the time. I would rather cite a primary source rather than blab a website.

I'm visiting here to learn some things, get a good laugh, and sometimes help if I can...

Happy Hunting!

    • Supermods
      • Trigger Maru
      • RFB
That way, mod creators can post the readme's, installation instructions, highlight pictures etc. without people having to hunt through pages and pages of threads to find various things.

That sounds like a good move. Realizing it would take some work for the moderators, I'd be happy with a list of links for mods with a brief description of the mod, along with compatability, ie 1.4, 1.5, TMO, RSRD, etc......and...as a request from the modders themselves, please.. post the readme. It's frustrating for it to be necessary to download a mod in order to read the details (the readme) Thanks for your efforts to all of you Moderators!

That's all been covered by the SH4 mods sticky thread. Clicking a link there will take you to the thread within Subsim that details the work.

I think what maerean_m is suggesting is that the larger mods setup & maintain a webpage that includes developmental news, forum links & file locations etc.....if you then require smaller additional mods, come to Subsim and use the search function.

I think it's a good idea as threads do tend to get cluttered and busy which makes searching for info a PITA.

I don't want to see another listing site but a home for each of the 'all incompassing' mods should be easy enough to arrange. Most ISP's offer free webspace within the service agreement and a minimal knowledge of HTML is required if using something like FrontPage.
