I'm very excited about this mod! It's got to be the most ultimate mod ever made for SH3!

Better than GWX for its realism!

I'm sorry to say my companion mod for this, Real U-bootsmen Hygiene, has been canceled.

The wife threatened divorce if I kept working on it.

PT, while playing with Realistic Sailing enabled, I think I may have found a bug in the mod.

Everything works fine unless you're in a IID U-boat running with "decks awash". The ocean spray coming over the conning tower gets locked into a loop that will not shut off the spray between waves.

I think I traced it to a negative value set for the node trigger in 'Turm2D_1_hd.dat'.

The fix was easy, just open up the file in S3D, and then browse to the entry named '229: Node - Turm2D_1_spray'. Look at the Z value in Offset and remove the minus sign in front of the number so it is a positive value like the X and Y values already are.

Fixed!

I'm working on a 2.0 version of this that will include a fire hose for those reeeeally stormy seas! I recommend you put your whole computer in your showerbox while playing sh3+real sailing mod, otherwise you may wet your whole home.

This mod comes in two parts. First off, a software that will run parallel to SH3, to capture the waves and the wind and the rain. The second part is a bunch of hardware material that will transform the simulation into reality.

The software will read the waves as they strike the tower, it will send a signal to the hardware part that will squirt some water in your face, like in the good old days!

Here's some pictures of the hardware:

The fan will blow away you long hairs and beard to simulate the wind, while the water spray will squirt water in your face everytime a wave bumps into the tower. This will turn SH3 into a life time experience!

Bonus!

If you are one of the first 10 to request this mod, you will also receive 3 more sprays so you can tie them up in the ceilling to simulate the rain effects!

Its strongly recommended to use your rain gear while using this mod. And caution about your keyboard.

Realism guaranteed!

I don't understand...

I assumed that since I could use the sprayer for surface running that a bucket would be appropriate for a suberged approach... Now all I get is a black screen.

It's probably got something to do with GWX.

:rotfl: Is it GWX 2.1 compatible? :rotfl: Is it applable to SH3 Commander for randomization of events? Is this mod allow user to add feature of keeping food in toilet for more realism?

I confirm it WORKS PERFECTLY, I'm now soaking wet thanks to your modding abilities, sir!

I hope version 2.0 includes a diesel recipient so we can smell reality too!
