Those Uboats sure get tossed around, unlike the big fleet boats.

And yeah with the crew management thing, I know some people would think its a cheat, playing without crew fatigue, but whatevever. I enjoy the game more without have to check each crewman to see if he is tired. I am sure most Uboat crewmen knew when and where they had to be. Simple drilling and shift changes is a basic part of naval life.
I have SH3/GWX/Scmdr3 & SH4 with U-Boat addon installed my machine, but I'm most my time in Atlantic

Last night docking port my second patrol, November 1939. Some good night with moon and some windy... 15 m/s... gave my WO Iron Cross after

But it aint fun when SO calls spotted merchant - Large Tanker... but American
And then when surfing to base, no torpedoes but deckgun have ammo... SO calls -warship spotted... windy nights and no torpedoes when meet HMS Hood

But it's life :hmm:

I've played with 504MB of RAM since I bought SHIII (the very same day I bought my PC) and a month or so ago my PC finally told me enough was enough.

Up till then I just had slower frame rates and whatnot. But then it started to just crash my PC when I started the game. As in PC just shut off.

Well someone was able to hook me up with 512MB more RAM and I'm back baby! (Yes, I realize I could have just bought the RAM myself, but I waited until someone scored me some for free - so that's much better, yo)

My specs say it's running at .99Gigs of RAM now, still nothing great. But I'm going to finally give 16k a try. I'm sure it will be an improvement over the 1FPS I got the one time I tried it when I had only 504MB. Let's hope

So yeah, it's nice to be back after the month I was forced to stay on land.

Oh, and if anyone can hook me up with a new monitor for free that'd be cool. Something like 24" or 25" would be fine. My nice one's cord broke and I am forced to use a teeny tiny one. Oh well. I'll just squint for the time being, I guess.

Actually... nevermind

But shortly after I posted that I got a call and a new monitor is on the way.

lol

Nothing great, but better than what I've been using since the cord on my old tore in two.

Turned out 16k isn't really doable for me. First look at it it seemed alright. But the next patrol was all night sky (even in daytime) and the FPS was very low once more. This may be an issue that have been delt with on other threads, but I'm happy enough in my tiny 8k world. So I'm not gonna even look into it for now.
I'm just happy to be playing some GWX. Haven't played it hardly at all. Good to be back steaming 'cross the Atlantic. I'll be happier when the gard darnit monitor gets here. Jeesh. :p
