Charge! Hungary started a war by attacking one of my Citadels!

They blew a hole in the wall, they charged, they died, they ran away, and my Cavalry took care of the stragglers...

The thread is running well

People of the Julii!
The Senate has ordered our brave general Manio Julio to conquer the rebelic city of Masalia, Normally so to speak he would have refused...but rumors has it..the brothels on the other side of the mountain valley are of high quality and contain precious beautifull women from all nations! they marched with a reasonable size of army to attack. lets hope the gauls will stay out of the way!

...

Seeying that Patavio is a bit too much, their garrison is maxed out
so I thought I head for france , and lucky me the senate gives me a order to attack the nearest village.

anyhow...before I actually moved their I got attacked twice by the gauls in the province of patavio...and that costed them dearly:

''The Roman Handshake''

I survived both battles, but my forces where too crippled to continue to attack the city of patavio. so I turned them back to reinforce them with fresh troops and headed with a new general to the village of Masalia.

the battle was a great succes, I suspected some resistance but...farmers with a knife....well....you'll see

Making the farmer fly:

the campaign map now:

Show them the might of Rome, Hunter!

I have started a campaign in Medieval 2: Total War, Kingdoms. I am the Teutonic Order, and early in the campaign.

I started by claiming Bialystok, a small rebel town between me and the pagan Lithuanians. The loss of men was light.

I then allied myself with Poland, which pissed of the Danes somehow.

Then the Lithuanians decided to strike first, and sent a large force from Palanga, towards Königsberg, one of my larger cities. This had to be countered, so I dispatched my main army from Marienburg and met the Lithuanian force before they got to Königsberg.

My army:

The attack is launched from all sides with cavalry and infantery, and the enemy flee.

The enemy general is cornered and duly beaten:

The Lithuanians took a beating against my professional army (and they turned down my ransom demand, so all prisoners were executed):

... and my force is now on the way to lay siege to the city they came from, Palanga.

Unforunately an ever greater enemy force is heading towards Riga, and I dont have alot of soldiers there, so it will probably fall.

Hmmm ... need more men.

I think it's time to ditch these rusty armors and go back to RTW... Sparta awaits.

No you can not,
Just because of that distastefull text above, I dont even want to hear anything about that mod. good way to introduce a mod towards other players by saying they SUCK if they dont play it.

FYI I'm playing Stock RTW, and just am having some fun with it.

if you read my AAR's and that of others, we having just a bit of fun. we are not having a REALISM competition.

Realism aside, EB is great. I wouldn't call it an uber-realism mod either, it's kind of like the GWX of RTW. I'm not sure I'd recommend anyone to play SH3 without GWX these days...

I guess that wasn't the best way to introduce it, huh
