Good looking skins!
NealT, if you want i will make some VISUAL detail & placing coordination guide when i catch some time.
Thank you.

Anything will help, as I get frustrated if I cannot get it done fairly quickly...

I know how to use layers and all that...and have even painted an aircraft or two from time to time...

All the Template files have finally been uploaded to Filefront. These basic templates with many of my personal magic will make your life easier to create your own skins.

So its time to party

All that is left is to add Tomi skins and one of his templates to complete the package.

Goodhunting all.

Very nice work man!

But unfortunally Im always in love for rusty uboats... VERY rusty uboats...

So if you could PLEASE do a very very rusty 4096 version, I'll sure use it for the rest of my life!

Question: Do you plan on working on those marvellous IX uboats?

Yes for the IX U-boats. I'm going to release a final template for type IX series later.
I have a U-99 rusty boat. Very very rusty at 2048 rez.

You can try to make your own custom U-boat by downloading my templates. Add as much rust or camo or weathering as your heart desires. I'm not releasing any more type VII's. Thats why I released photoshop templates so others can continue and improve on my work if any ones interested.

I don't believe you can play 4096 skinned U-boats in SH3?:hmm: My 4096 are templates to help make your own skins if you want to try it out.

I believe the highest level of resolution SH3 can handle is 2048.

But your u-99 is a VII right? I only use type IX uboats... so I guess I would have to learn how to make rusty skins for myself, once I've never found much rusty skins... they are by nature rare to find, and even more rare to type IXs.

If you ever make a rusty IX 2048, you let me know!

I'll see what I can do for the IX series.

My crew is delighted to sail under your Mk2 paint scheme Mr. Actually the torpedo crew wrote you a long letter in the endless hours of boredom, unfortunatelly the wind blew it away and it got lost forever. Anyhow, thank you.

Finally had a chance to really get a nice feel of this skin.

I went out on my patrol in March of 41 and wasn't doing so good. One kill 3400 GRT with deck gun in over a week.
I did my patrol in DR23 and then sailed almost to Gibraltar. Figuring my bad luck would change.
http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/f.../VIIC_94_1.jpg
First week was sunny and hot
http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/f.../VIIC_94_2.jpg
Sunset was too nice to miss.
http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/f.../VIIC_94_3.jpg
One of my officers warned me about bad weather comming.
http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/f.../VIIC_94_4.jpg
He has a nose for these things.
http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/f.../VIIC_94_5.jpg
I never question it.
http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/f.../VIIC_94_6.jpg
After 2 weeks nothing... Then I get word from a near by sub of a convoy not too far from us. We head out for the hunt.
http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/f...itishsub_1.jpg
Interesting Sub never seen a british sub in action before..
http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/f...r/FIGILC_1.jpg
Oh a Figi Light Cruiser... I took out the right frigate and started on a few cargo ships. Dangit 3 torpedos missed the light cruiser..
http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/f...r/FIGILC_2.jpg
Found the convoy again and finished off Figi with my last 2 torpedos...
I limped home with barely any fuel left. But finished the 3 weeks with over 30000 GRT.
That was some good hunting. I have to say this skin look great in all weather conditions.

WH:
I just downloaded your templates and my jaw dropped to the floor!!!
All i can say is that you did a great job!!
Thank you very much for those files and I hope one day we can see the same for the IX subs.
These files will inspire many of us to try to produce new skins.

I will make a final version for IX series and XXI also. The Type II well Fubars Verions are perfect I can't find any more details to add.

My problem for the type 9 is the D version I can't find any good quality photos that shows alot of details. I have B's and C's plenty.

Also I have reloaded the VII Series Final skins to a newer Version 1.1. I found some texture missing on the rear end deck of the VIIC MK1 and 2. Its hard to see if your not look at it. Basically I've changed the NSS_Uboat7c_deck.tga to a newer one. I like perfection and I know you guys like quality work.
