I'v got an old r25 '54 bmw bike that i was restoring, but the way the prices are going i might just have to get it on the road alot quicker and ditch the car.

Same reason the commodity prices are soaring.
More people are getting richer, faster. Rich people eat more food and buy more oil than poor people.

It was the rich people and the religious right who got him elected twice.

As far as the oil business is concerned, I'm beginning to feel the beginning strings of an oil war coming under the guise of "We have to stop Iran" and I see a coalition effort doing it.
