Best way to cross the pond?

The US Supreme Court decided that one decades ago: Roe v. Wade, 410 U.S. 113 (1973)

I`ve crossed it in my type IX/C on many missions, like others have said I use 9kts,and have had no problems. There`s milch cows close to the area for the return trip.

With a IXC at 8-9 knots even without milk cows you can reach pretty much any (usefull) destination in the game. Just need to have a book or something to watch on tv while you trudge across the sea. I was able to make it from La Spezia -> Curaco -> Galveston -> New York (hit the motherload there with a 22k cruise ship docked there) and back to port in Spezia.

The batteries do recharge if you are just sitting around. Noticed that when moving external torpedos inside that over the few hours that it took the batteries did recharge themselves. Not really a feasable way to recharge them, but a nice fringe benefit.
