I just completed my first three patrols with GWX2.0 in a type II and had no problem finding targets. In fact on one patrol I sank 3 ships on the same day, and accumulated enough points to earn a type VII.

Matter of luck maybe?

I just came back from my 4th patrol and sunk 16 merchants, 3 warships, and 1 submarine. November/December 1939

Plenty of targets out there! I got lucky and found a convoy of 13 merchants, a Southampton Class Cruiser, 2 escorts, and an S Class. Wiped the convoy clean

Ive sunk more destroyers than I have merchants...youll wish you never sailed into U-87s hunting grounds. When you pull into port, dont lull yourself into a false sense of security, your mines and subnets are just a petty challenge for my crew and I.

Same here. On my second patrol currently in transit to Wilhelmshaven in November 1939 having sunk 16 merchants for 96,203 GRT. Even my first patrol I bagged 50,000+ GRT. In the right place at the right time I suppose.

The tonnage is definitely out there....it's just a case (as it was in RL) of finding it
