Well, ....I'm also a Noob when it comes to serious modifications, ...and my pet project is to "simply" exchange a single 37mm for the foredeck 20mm on my TypeIID. It turns out that the task is ANYTHING but simple! Privateer has been 'bending over backwards" to help me, and I am still nowhere near to accomplishing my goal. I suspect that the task you have in mind will be even more difficult; ....as my TypeIID at least HAS a "hardpoint" on the foredeck (the wrong kind), whereas your TypeXXI does not!!! i don't know what good it would of done maybe bernard told them it would work... anyways it kept popping up the aircraft spotted bubble many times and finally the AA guns started firing. i think it all went back to me clicking the "engage aircraft button when the bubble first appeared when planes were sighted. you guys might want to look into it |
