The most annoying thing in Vista is how slow she transfer large file from one hard disc to another. And its also a memory eater - not good for games

TBH she's only 14 so I reckoned she won't know any different if that's what she's got from the outset :hmm:

I've still got her original XP Pro disc though

Up until recently I built and repaired computers and I kept telling people to stick with 32-bit XP Pro. The only time that it has given me problems is when I try to clean up files and/or the registry with 3rd party software like CCleaner.

Anyway, this is why XP Pro still runs at $148 at wholesale prices.

I use CrapCleaner and haven't experienced any problems.....yet....fingers crossed
