Hi everyone,
I am currently running SH3 with GWX 2.0 & OLC GUI. I have installed SH3 Gen with the Frame Net thingy exactly as I did with GWX 1.3. I am now suffering CTD's and on uninstalling SH3 Gen I still have major conflicts and the only thing left is to uninstall everything and start again. My question is, is SH3 Gen ver. 0.8.1 compatible with GWX 2.0 ? previous posts have suggested yes but I can't see how. Many Thanks, Herr Trigger. |

That is a good question. It shouldn't as SH3Gen only reads the files and does not write to them. It is a stand-alone program. Also do you have frame net 2.0?
I plan to activate the SH3Gen program today and test it. You didn't, by any chance, put the program into the JSGME mod folder, did you?

FYI, I've been using SH3Gen since it came out and have been using it with GWX2.0 with no problems.

I did try this earlier in the week with disasterous results, but a previous post appeared on or around the 18th asking for compatability and as the answer seemed to be yes I attempted a second installation with the same results. I'm thinking that if I reinstall the Frame Net thingy it could be good ? I hope so as everything else is running brilliantly and SH3 Gen adds that extra bit more. Thanks for your response. Herr Trigger,
You are welcome. I tested it and it works fine for me also.

Thanks guys for helping new users - looks like I have completely lost touch with the SHIII community
![]() By design, Sh3Gen should work with GWX and future modifications. Except a small "if" - if there are no really weird changes to the campaign files. We had this before when some people hand edited the campaign files, but as long as the modders chose the clean approach and use the Mission Editor, there should never be a problem. Glad to see people are still enjoying my idea, and please let me know if something really important is happening.
