I think we should have included a dedication to Abraham in the manual, but that's just me.

Otherwise, preparing for download process! If you're downloading, then get the hell out of the guy with the T1's way!

I can't even begin to thank you as much as you guys deserve. GWX was more then enough to turn SH3 into one of my favorite games ever, and I'm sure 2.0 will earn a perminant place on my computer once I get it.

In short, great job

Well done Kapt. and Crew. I can only imagine the hard work put into it all, but I know you all have done a great job. Time for a well deserved rest I'd say. And if you all were here I'd buy the first round.

Now if I can find the time I'll get back into SHIII again.

I have to admit, I tried Flashget, but I wasn't sure if I'd downloaded GWX correctly - it had downloaded 6mb after half an hour(does that seem ok?) and I didn't want to wait the time it took to get 1.19gb to see if it was ok

As one of the early downloaders, I have downloaded the bit torrent file, and am adding myself to the torrent peers(?) to assist with the download load .

Thanks Jim. I only wish I'd had the time to help with 2.0. But sadly that wasn't the case seeing we moved and all the work that had to be done before and after.

Like I said...get some friggin rest now and PLAY SHIII/GWX2.0 for a change. :rotfl: After the holidays I hope I can get back into it again.....with 2.0

BTW..... Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone . That's if I don't get the chance to get back on the forums before they're upon us.

Bad luck for the allies

GWX came just in time to give the allied forces again a very bad '39
As soon as all files are on my disk (I expect somewhere around tuesday) I will install and immediately start a new career!
I'M SO EXCITED TO DISCOVER ALL THE NEW STUFF

I wasn't able to donate and get GWX 2.0 in the first run because my boys needed new shoes and winter clothing and financial resources aren't excatly abundant these days.

Finally it is available as freeware and I can't wait to discover what's new.....

Before I dive into this game again, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude tot Kpt Lehmann and everyone who contributed to GWX in any way.

Thanks for keeping SHIII alive!

Many, many thanks from me too!

My install was not quite as instructed, even though I have a totally new computer. SH3 went on fresh, followed by GWX and other bits like SH3Cmdr. As I loaded the game I realised I had copied some of my old 'My Documents' folder from my previous PC, including the SH3 bits. Guess what, my old careers showed up. Just to see what happened I loaded up my most recent, in port before my 12th patrol in U47. It worked fine and I'm now out at BF17 as ordered. Will something go terribly wrong or should I continue?

What with a new Core2Duo E6750 and a 8800GT GPU, things sure look good apart from an occasional black flicker of a box or something on the horizon - still trying settings though.

Anyway, great work everyone on the team!
