But on the other hand most of the priceis tax, at least in the UK the govt. do have the option of lowering the tax thus bringing the price down.

countries where tax is a very small part of the price will see the price of a litre go up regardless.

Not saying Mr Brown will reduce the tax being the idiot he is.

Can't afford over £1 a litre with these paltry wages !

As I said the prices will continual to go up and cut back measures will come in.

So you hope to generate sympathy for your cause amongst the people by making it more difficult for them to get around? Maybe you guys ought to go for their full devotion by toshing them on the head with bricks...

Well it worked before in 2000, and I'm sympathetic, until you guys have petrol as expensive as ours then you will understand.

It's on it's way fast enough, but the question still stands. Of all the methods for making a point why pick a protest tactic that obstructs those whose support one will need to achieve ones goals?

Your diesel costs about $8 U S a gallon?

Is that about right?
