Default Before the 1.4 patch

I raised the GC value to make the sub's less stable to get the rocking motion on the ocean which is in the Sub Roll Pitch reflection mod of ROW. Raised them to 3.15 most were way too low and the sub's too stable in ruff waters. With this setting the sub is stable when moving in calm waters 0mps winds aand slowly changes according to sea state change.

As to lowering the surface height I also changed some of the figures in the sub's cfg file's. These are my changes for the Sargo in my game. Of course watch it for the Sugar boats as they can not dive as deep.

[Properties]
PeriscopeDepth=16.7;meters =15.239 50ft scopes are closer to above high waves
SnorkelDepth=15;meters =9.144 30ft for radar depth and radio transmissions also on this one I set the message bar to say radar depth instead of snorkel Depth.
CrashDepth=40;meters =45.719 150ft
MaxDepth=100;meters =91.439 300ft
SurfaceDepth=5.061;meters =5.182 17ft
TorpLaunchMaxDepth=30;meters

Also in the same CFG files if you want the slowest forward and back settings to be Silent running compliant use these settings like I do for my Sargo.

[EngineProperties]
AllStop=0.00
AheadSlow=0.40 =0.20 silent running submerged just under 2knt's
AheadOneThird=0.57 =0.40 I did this for better power curve
AheadStandard=0.80 =0.60 Better fuel consumption vs original telegraph setting
AheadFull=0.94 =0.80 Better power curve
AheadFlank=1.00 =1.00
BackSlow=-0.26 =-0.20 silent running submerged just under 2 knt's
BackStandard=-0.40 =-0.30 Reverse speeds should not be very fast so did the fallowing
BackFull=-0.53 =-0.50
BackEmergency=-0.66 =-0.70 only because back emergency should be pushing reverse to the extream but never as fast as ahead flank.

I know they are trying to keep my heart from working hard but the pacemaker is keeping it too low and my body and brain wants more and not getting it so I tire out fast.

Even going for a walk with the dogs wears me out just going around the block.

I don't like taking pain pills as I like to keep a clear head about me so the new chest cut is bugging the hell out of me.

But I am doing my best to stay

Into the corresponding dat file, simply locate the 3D node of the conning tower and edit XYZ axis. It will be X i believe.
Ive looked everywere sometimes theres not enough info to determine what I am changing. Any idea which part?

My dad had major heart surgery not long ago, people messing around with your insides takes a while to get over; you'll feel it for months & anything to do with the heart makes you tire out easier, also for months - my father had his operation last year ('06 early spring iirc) & he still has limited energy. It got better after a time frame of about six to eight months but seemed to peak at about 70% of the energy level he had before. If you drink or smoke it can be much worse, he never did either one in his entire life and it still got him down. My sister was an R.N. at the heart hospital here in Arkansas for a while & she told him how it would be & she was almost right on the money.

But some come back to nearly what they were before, I hope you are one of those. Keep up the cardio activities & keep your chin up, atitude has a lot to do with health; never lay down or give up.
