I was bouncing around in the middle of a howling gale when I managed to intercept (read: blundered into) a convoy. Working on the theory that I couldn't see anything, so they couldn't see me, I surfaced and tried to find something to sink in the murk. All of a sudden, a gigantic shadow loomed up about 400 metres in front of me, heading right across my bows. I caught sight of a number of VERY large guns before snap shooting two torpedoes at the stern, raising the U-56's battle cry of "Run away!!' and crash diving. There were two explosions and the Rodney seemed to be unable to decide to catch fire or just fall apart, so it did both. Within two minutes it had gone, just leaving behind a number of mystified escort Swans asking each other if they had seen the BB that was there a minute ago
