I got most of them from some photo collections posted by Bill Nichols I think they are still hosted at Subguru. Others I snagged from the web over the years and don't remember, probaly from a google search for "Russian Submarine Interiors" or whatnot.

I have a confesson, the equipment posted on P.12 was really a radar scope from a Juillett SSG I think. It just looked so much like the MGK-400 set in DW that I used it. The control room shown on P.12 I think is from the kilo or another boat of the same era. Not totaly sure about the others.

Yes ! I like that picture too .. is there a hires version of it somewhere ?
The control room or the radar/sonar scope? TimmyG00 was the source for the scope image. I'll post the origional image of the control room soom but its not really that big IIRC.

The scope. Btw what about such devices turned on ? Are such pictures available ? I'd made them classified as hell, but are they ?

I've worked a bit on your layout and along the way started a thread which links to the Wiki for discussion of the Wiki and through it your Guide at the CADC.

Link to the Wiki Version : http://www.commanders-academy.com/wi...o_Kilo_tactics
Link to the Discussion Thread : http://www.commanders-academy.com/fo...ad.php?t=15968

P.S. : Check your PMs at the CADC

1 - assorted ship quick reference sheets (I don't play enough, so I need reminders of what does what ), sound propagation diagrams and stuff from articles various posters have linked to on this forum, FFG towed array depth vs speed, cavitation charts, NM to yds conversion, time vs distance travelled chart etc.
2 - P-3C Orion OWTOP guide by Orion Warrior
3 - FFG guide by MaHuJa
4 - TMA tutorial by Top Torp
5 - Sub Basic Ops Manual by OneShot and SubSailor
6 - The Bluebook of Sub ops
7 - Sub Command HQ Ops manual
8 - Kaptains Russian sub guide
9 - Notfallmappe guide by Micheal Wolff (A.K.A. Landlubbers survival guide for DW)
10- Kilo Doctorine by TLAM strike
11 - the DW game manual (least used and likely most useless part of the binder -- this game would be near unplayable for newbies without the amazing efforts of the authors information like above and people like Bill Nichols hosting the SubGuru site -- my apologies to those I've missed crediting).

I have a separate small binder that I keep my ship/aircraft/weapon reference charts in.

I know, I have a problem. My name is Robert and I'm an organization freak !!

Most of what's in my binders can be found at Subguru's site and/or the Commanders Academy and Dive Centre although you may have to go back thru some of the posts here to find links to some great "background" type info (i.e. detailed articles on sound travel).

Robert

I think I have everything on the list but for the P-3C and FFG guides. Where can I find them in a PDF printable form?

Thanks.

Disregard - I found them.

"I have a separate small binder that I keep my ship/aircraft/weapon reference charts in."
What source do you use for these and what is the Notfallmappe?
