Ahoy, skippers, a question for you. We have all stood our share of watches on the bridge admiring the eye candy that is SHIV. As time has passed, the game has gotten amazingly realistic-looking, with the ROW mod upping the ante considerably.
The "problem" I have is that it takes me forever to get anywhere or get anything done in the game because I'm always stopping to admire the view. I often drop out of time-compression to catch sunrises/sunsets and pleasant nights. It's a real treat to turn out the lights in your game room, turn up the volume, listen to the hum of the diesels and watch the stars come out. With all the modding progess, the SHIV environment has become one of the most immersive that I can recall, so much so that I can use it as a relaxation device. Nothing soothes frayed nerves like a beautiful sunset on the Pacific with the waves lapping gently along the hull. Of course, you have to be careful that the Japanese won't show up to spoil the party. :p So my question is: am I the only one with this "problem?" I am sure there must be a few more "sky watchers" out there. Don't be afraid, you can admit it. ![]()
