I have SH3 for almost a year now. One day, I was looking around online for a sub sim. I read reviews for other sub sims and tried out some demos before I found SH3. So, I found a review for SH3 and the review gave the game pretty good ratings. That and the screenshots just drew me in. So, I bought it, played it, and...well...the game is simply great. The review accurately described how the game is. It is definitely rewarding to see the spectacular results of a successful attack, especially after the effort to track targets and moving into a good attack position. There are simply no words to completely describe the experience.

Since release. But then I played Silent Service on an Atari Computer, the better one with the colour monitor though...

Together with IL-2 best cost/fun/duration factor.

Bought it when it came out.

Got a computer that would run it about two weeks later.

I have owned it for 2-3 years, but I have only played it for the last 2 months.
