I've only experienced this once, but what worked for me was performing the 'uninstall' option from the game disk :hmm:

Tried that too jim and no luck. The part that scares me is I'm at the point that a reformat seems to be the final answer. I hope someone comes up with a better answer than my idea. "REFORMAT" ![]() |

Have you tried running a full system cleaner? Problems like this can usually be caused by residual files in Windows.
Also, fully uninstall, reboot, then run the starforce removal tool, then reboot & try again. Also, Google will throw up some answers but don't limit your search to SH3 related issues. There should be an error code, put that into google to see what's returned. My money's on starforce. ![]()

If you have windows XP and you suspect you may have had a virus you need to turn off system restore ( it will make a copy of your files including the virus). Next run your system anti-virus program. Turn system restore on again. Then start a clean reinstall. Just one more sugestion .

Tried both danlisa and roscoes suggestions and still no luck.
![]() I'm not the only one this is happening to. Member soma is haveing the exact same error message and it isn't a virus. I am going to start a new thread to find more answers till this is solved. |
