Actually, the problem is that at soem level it's probably best to pick an average date since so many ships got radar in a haphazard way.

Look at Mushashi vs Yamato, for example.

If you can come up with a good set of typical dates by ship class, I'll certainly add it in! Another thing is that I really don't know anything about how the 21 is modeled vs the 22.

Sure thing, will do. For the Yamato class, I'll probably just make it January 1943, since there is a ten-month gap between the two introduction dates. Any gap less than five months, I'll go with the earliest known date.
