Everybody thinks that firefox is safer then IE since theres fewer reported cases of people using firefox getting virus' but firefox just has a smaller userbase and most of the people who firefox know how to fix there computer themselves, while the majority of people who use IE (You know like the computer illiterate who actually buy computers at wal-mart) Have no idea how to fix there computer and end up going to the wrong site without any protection and getting a virus. In reality the 2 browsers probably are quite equal in terms of security its just more idiots use IE.

I've always used IE and have had no problems with viruses myself, plus I like pissing off all the Firefox fanboiz.

I use IE myself. The only reason I will use firefox is when i'm using a Win98 system.

I've never really wanted to be l337 though.

That not quite true. IE still has more security vunarabilities than Firefox and most viruses and such are programed to exploit vunerabilities that exist in IE but not in Firefox or Opera. Oh, acording to the latest infromation i have (which may not be accurate) Opera is more secure than Firefox which is more secure than IE. Ofcourse a sensible user cna overcome both the vunerabilities of IE and an idiot can overwhelm a relatively safer Firefox, most problems are indeed caused by the connecting link between the chair and keyboard.

If Opera was a woman, I would romance her and make love to her. The mouse gestures are the most brilliant feature to me; being able to sit back and open and close tabs and move all over the place by wiggling my mouse is great. I ditched Firefox for it because I found Firefox took ages to start. Opera is very zippy from my experience.

Firefox had it first and, thanks to ultimate reason #2: plug-ins galore, you can customize it however you like and much better than IE.

I also notice that Firefox loads my webpages faster.
