I think the lame showing for the Repubs is a handicap at this point. However, things are not even in the normal time frames yet. Demos got the ball rolling this time around. Usually the beginning of next year is when you start to see the action heat up.

Same here.

Very good. Now I can see your opinion as legitimate when it comes to this topic.
Unlike others.

Everyone's entitled to an opinion. I have opinions on the politics of various other countries. Should we all excuse ourselves from expressing opinions when such topics come up?

That being said, it's another thing altogether to take issue with an opinion when it is wrong or you feel it is wrong.

Otherwise, who needs forums!!!

I'm not disagreeing with you Avon Lady, but I have found that some folks opinion of the US is based upon lack of 'real' knowledge, prejudice, or lack of control of their own life/gov't and blaming it on the US.

Agree but then point it out. There's tons of misinformed folks out there in webbyland. Become an influence, an @mbassador if you wish.

Well, I was a bit surprised by your use of describing opinions as "legitimate" or not. The implication is that had I been some sort of an "outsider", my opinions could potentially be considered disqualified, so to speak.

"Which canidate do you want for prez "

I'm pretty convinced that unless Fred Thompson and Tom Tancredo pair up and run, we haven't got a chance against Hillary winning the nomination and choosing Obama as her running mate.

In which case I will be packing my bags for the gun bans that I'm positively sure would be following their occupation of the Whitehouse. (<------NOT kidding)

But as Murphys' Law states that The most substantial problems will occur at the mos inoppurtune time, I'm expecting that somebody will dog up the Rose Law firm issue ot the other skeletons in Hillarys' closet and that'll send the Dems out scrambling to find a better candidate for the nomination and it'll end up bein ugly all around.

The best I'm hoping for right now is to end up with a do-nothing, good-for-nothing administration that will be a lame duck in the water and incapable of doing anything.

I'm tired of politicians inventing a solution and then looking for a problem instead of setting their political squabbles aside long enough to do some good for this nation and solving the real problems that need attention.

Repeal the seventeenth amendment and hold the house to its constituents. If the defeat of the immigration bill taught us nothing it should have taught us that the will of the people can prevail!! More power to us!!!!!

These are times when the US cannot afford such an administration.

Obama. He actually sounds like a statesman. And I'd rather see a progressive Republican win than Hillary.

Barack FTW.
