If I could start all over again, I would probably hold off from SHIV. It feels too arcadey for me (looks great, but has poor AI, and way too many capital ships) and although there are mods to correct this, I'm having MUCH more "fun" playing SHIII with GWX.
Not saying that it won't be worth the purchase in the (near) future, I'm sure it will, but unless you're a die hard pacific fan, you may be left feeling a little flat for the moment. Then again, there are other guys here that absolutely LOVE the game and will try to convince you otherwise. Horses for courses. I guess you'll just have to buy it anyway and see.......:rotfl: |

If you already own SH3, and enjoy it for it's realism (~mods), not just graphics -
i`d wait and see to what extend 1.3 and modding ventures are able to improve SH4. By then, price should have dropped by a good amount. |
