Default Kiel in, Kiel Out????

Hello fellow Kaleuns...
Last night I tried for the first time to use the autopltting feature to get out and in the Kiel Canal, but it does't seem to work the way it is supposed to.
For sure I am doing something wrong. I followed the instructions found in another thread with almost the same name, but no luck.
When I leave Kiel, I plot the course the green waypoint, and then I click on the Kiel Out order, but it draws the course SSE and sometimes the course is plotted in the right direction, but some waypoins are on land. I do this before moving an inch from the dock, but no pisitive result yet.
Same story when I am on my way back to Kiel.
Could you please be so kind to give me a hand with this, since it's kind of tedious tracing the course every time I start a new patrol?
Thanks a lot for your unvaluable help.

I think that you mistook the bridge for the outbound waypoint. There is no such thing.
When leaving Kiel, you should stay in the dock where you start, and just press "Kiel outbound" without moving at all. Again: there is no outbound waypoint.

When coming back to Kiel, you should go to the waypoint as close as possible and press Kiel inbound.

Good luck!

Correct me if I'm wrong

Oh oh oh, that could be it.... see? I knew i was doing something wrong here, but I didn't know what it was.
so all I have to do is to click on the Kiel out order without having to add any waypoint before that?
Thanks a lot for your help Canovaro

Hi!

Canovaro is correct. If you are playing GWX this is addressed on page 106 of the GWX Manual V1.03: just <CTRL><Left Click> on "The Kiel Canal" in the table of contents and Acrobat will take you to the start of the relevant section.

Good hunting!

Your boat doesn't have to be physically on the Kiel Canal Inbound Point. I just zoom way in on it, place a navigation waypoint right on top of it and then click the Kiel In button.

Try put the second last waypoint any place other than between 180 and 270 degrees south-west of the dot, and then put the last waypoint on the dot - zoom in if you must - and then see, what happens...

Hello everybody....
Still having problems with this Kiel Canal feature....
When I return to Kiel, I place a last waypoint flag o the green dot, at the western entrance of the Canal, then I click on the "Kiel In" icon and he course is automatically traced along it, works great!!!.
The problem is when I try to do the same when leving Kiel. I follow the same prodedure, placing a last waypoint on the eastern green dot, click on "Kiel Out" and the course is traced too, but out of the boundaries of the Canal, so I have to delete all the waypoints and do it manually. Why is this happening?
Thanks a lot for your help and sorry to keep bothering you with this.

@CapZap

Because you're playing with my GWX-TA!
Look at my site to help you with the problem!

GWX didn't make an eastern dot...

Ah
If you had said you were using TA at the start it would have helped Capzap

In GWX you hit Kiel out BEFORE even moving the sub
Then return to course and away you go
There is only an inbound marker not an outbound one
