You have taken some damage to your pressure hull and it is failing causing flooding and the inevitable sinking of your boat. When the hull is damaged enough, submerging will lead you to your death.

Edit:

I should have mentioned that if this happens, you may recover by blowing ballast (E key) and setting your speed to flank. (Unless the bow of the boat is lower than your stern.)

I must have missed the damage in the confusion..

Im puzzled that you didnt CTD when you pressed "A" :hmm: I have the "A" key mod installed...
