lol.. sorry guys, I literly posted then crashed, sick today, for real lol, so im staying home.

I got it at ebgames in alberta. From a buddy who works there, he usually slides me the games as soon as they come in, on the qt of course.

The lack of aa is frustrating(anti-aliasing), but the graphics are really amazing, I cant stress it enough, I still have not cracked the manual, um, there is a lot in this box, I was suprised, there is a nice map, a sweet ref page, its been a while since a game has atually COME with a map lol!

I'm running them maxed, 1680x1050 on my 8800gts with max detail and it doesnt even burp.

I really should read more,b ut its to much damn fun, to bad I cant post pics.. Ir eally cant belive the graphics, you can dive so deep the screen is basically black, I play on the second hardest so I can use the exterior views, graphics are 2 pretty to pass up.

Oh, another thing, the damn sea floor, has TONS of stuff!!! rocks, massive weeds, and its not level like silent hunter 3.. granted I was hardly hardcore at that game.. in fact.. I sucked.. but it always bugged me how there was nothing down there.

Also ships seem to have some sort of dynamic damage, I shot at a freighter point blank range and I SWEAR I punched a hole in it right where the shell hit it!

Goign to go give her a whirl here again in a bit, see what I can come up with.

Jason is a good salesman ...

Don't you understand Jason ... you are likened to one of the first people to have actually seen a UFO ...

tell us more or we will nuke alberta just to get you.

I have friends serving on FBM submarines that can make it look like an accident

Accident eh..... LOL

I wish I knew how to post up screns, the odd thing im finding is the lack of aa is REALLY apprent, I dont get why.. its full rez yet.. its more jagged then it should be, going to hit the topics here and see if I Can figure out how to get it working.

Oh ya, the detail, like I said is amazing.... I did a quick run up to toyko and was cruising around and found ships just sitting in dock.... I would have found more if I had not run aground... got stuck... depth charged... then sunk.... lowsly destroyer....

I feel your pain.

The worst part is a large chain retailer near me received copies today (in person confirmation), but won't release them until Friday. That's the most frustrating part.

Actually my biggest complaint today was that the game *DIDN't* look like the screen shots posted, nothing like them, merely a suped up version of SH3, when you watch in action cam it gets slightly better, and there didn't be any way of making them better.

Still gorgeous, but not whats in the ''screenies''

All I really see is a downgrade in image quality due to the size limitations of the Image Hosting sites.
