Why? If you've payed for the game I don't see why you shouldn't be able to download it if it's available. I personally wouldn't do it, because it slows my connection to a crawl and I don't trust torrents, but ethically I see no problem with it. Lol sober. What is that? It looks like an incredibly miniaturized version of Jabba's sailing barge from Star Wars: Return of the Jedi.

It is absolutely unethical to download it via torrents, and this is why. Mainly, torrents are file sharing, so the moment you start downloading anything you are seeding it to others to help them download it.

Another point is that when you buy a piece of software you still don't exactly own it and have any god given rights to do whatever you see fit with it. It is stipulated that you are given a license to directly use the copy and cd-key that you purchased.

There are ways around that. I'm not very well versed in how but my room mate manages it while downloading his anime. You just tend to get banned from the sites if you get caught employing them.

If you've ever read the typical licence it forbids a great many things that are common practice. Hell, Oblivion's licence forbade modding even though they released a construction set. I've never put much stock in it.
