I kind of lost my interest as soon as I got good on full realism at SH3. Now there is notnig major left to learn. I do an occasional patrol every now and then but the thrill of my first manualy calculated torpedo impact is gone. Still its one hell of a game and I have it permanatly installed.

I sort of agree. Once I proved to myself I, too, could do manual fire control and played several careers using it, I just went back to using the weapons officer. The thrill was gone. I haven't stopped playing the game itself, though....

I hear that SH3 is what actually pushed Britney Spears over the edge. She couldn't make it through Gibraltar, and after her fifteenth failed attempt, she just lost it. Shaved her head, got a VIIB tattooed on her prodigious belly..and checked herself into rehab...U-Boat REHAB!!!!

I'm not "addicted" to silent hunter 3. Its just a thing I am into. Granted I was introduced to the joys of Submarines by my older brother. But just because I gave into "peer pressure" does not make me weak does it?

I could cease playing Silent Hunter 3 at any time I choose and I have done. I don't play silent hunter 3 anymore, I play The Grey Wolves eXpansion, there is a HUGE difference, so you see, I am completely without addiction here.

See, I have quit GWX now.

Gets ready to double click the GWX.exe... There... I started again.

I am not addicted to SH3 at all. And I can prove I have no addiction what so ever, in fact I can sit here and relax and have a swell time. I am not addicted, not a jot of addiction so there.

It should be noted the same place we go to discuss our addiction is the same place we go to get our fix.
