Never seen it. Read it. Have seen 20000 Leagues under the Sea though. Been there a few times as well in my VIIB although I normally implode before I actually record the depth

Saw the original TV series back in the 80s. Then saw the cinema version probably twice over the years on TV. Bought the director's cut and watched it probably 3-4 times, bought the miniseries version on DVD and watched it 3-4 times. And saw the cinema version again last week on TV.

That makes....uhm...about a dozen times over the course of 20 years.

:hmm:

I have the uncut version. As it's about 5 hours long, I've only watched it straight through once--which I did the day that I recieved it in the mail. However, I've watched various two hour stretches more than 10 times. Those two hours depend on the mood I'm in. Is it the "attack" on the destroyer, leading into the storm, followed by the convoy attack? Is it the orders leading to and subsequent sailing to Gibraltar--followed by the climatic finish? Or is it going to be Thomsen's speech and their departure from port, followed by the false alarm? Hell, there are so many little scenes that I've watched numerous times.

I think you have crabs in our eyebrows.

Such a great movie.

Twice. The first on VHS the Directors Cut and the second time the DVD mini series version.

Have watched the directors cut 10 times. Last year i brought the uncut version which runs for 4hrs 42 mins. This copy i have watch 5 times but i think i will make some time to watch it this weekend as i have not seen it in a while and reading through this thread has made me want to place the disc into the dvd player, turn the suround sound speakes on put the volume on max, turn off all the lights close all the shutters and relax on the sofa with a crate of becks and enjoy the expericene again
Oh it has to be watched with German language with subtitles in my opinon.
Oh and another reason to watch it is to train my 5 day old girl up on Uboats. Oh and the greman lanuage.

Probably about eight or nine times. The last time was about six months ago. I don't plan on watching it again any time soon, because that last time left me in such an exhausted, jittery state I could barely react to the end.
