Please don't bash the FFL, they have a outstanding military record, unlike the French army.

The game does not look like any kind of masterpiece.

Looks like the character which inspired the game was Jean-Claude Van Damme's "Legionnaire"... what an awful recommendation :rotfl: well except for teenage girls may be :hmm:

I wonder if they will issue white flags and rubber bullets with those rifles in game? Could end up being the most realistic french fighting sim game ever!
Yep ofcourse they will, they learned waving that flag from the best. Afterall the legion is full of Americans, English, Irish, South Africans, Australians, and who ever I can isult.

Anyone portraying the Legion as Cowards should not be held accountable, afterall little kids are allowed to say pretty much what they want !

PS: I forgot the Dutch

No offence to France intended, it is just a matter of exploiting what started as a funny joke. Clichees are everywhere and for everyone, we spaniards don't come out much better not just in internet forums but in real world literature....just see what Patrick O'Brian or Cecil B. Forrester say about us and you start feeling ashamed of being spaniard

Sadly with such coward acts as pulling out from Irak after the bombing massacre in Madrid is not the best way for us to combat those clichees, I'm afraid

For the record, I'm not at all serious. I know the French can fight just like any other army.

The French military has a rich history. It just stopped when it hit the twentieth century.

Yeah that's fair to say, they had lots of setbacks in the 20th century. I believe the French were tired of fighting after WWI.

Default What about the yanks?

I love the french bashing. You know.... cowards for not entering Iraq and Afghanistan, stepping out of Vietnam and whatnot..... but I couldnt help but think of a little war that started in 1914 for most of the world, except a certain big country that decided to sit on its thumbs until 4 years later in 1918..... or another war that started in 1939, again except for the same country that decided to sit on its thumbs till a few dive bombers slapped it silly in the very end of '41... and lets not forget the fact that this very counry also had to leave vietnam because "a bunch of rice growing farmers" put up a bit of a fight.
Its kinda funny how France decides not to enter a war or 2 and its the laughing stock of the world. If you ask me, they are the ones that had it right!
Thats my 2 bits.
