I wouldn't be counting the days if I were you. Computer games have a bad habit of not coming out on time.

Hey, don't get me wrong. I hope it comes out on time, too. I'm just not planning my life around it and setting myself up for a big disappointment....

Agreed - makes the scene look like an oil painting.

Yep, as I really don't like it - much too artificial.

I also have a strong feeling that the only people not complaining about running the game at decent setting will be the ones running the much more powerful GeForce 8800 card and some new dual core proc or something.

This game is such a monster to run that they removed anti-aliasing. That's really saying something about how much this game takes to run. The new high poly water is going to bring even 1 year old machines to their knees I think.
Could be, but lets hope not.

Dont worry it wont take much to run.... Id say as long as you have a gig of ram and a geforce 6600 or higher you will be more then fine

Also Amazon UK are saying release date will be the 23rd which has really thrown me

^^^
The source where I got the release date...

GOD I hope I have enough power in my processor to handle the game. Its not the graphics its the bottleneck that will slow you down to render and play the game smoothly.
