Default Where are the Bloody Planes???

So im playing TGW1.1 with SH3 Commander and im going to be starting my 8th patrol soon. I have one concern, where are the planes in this game. Since i dont get many chances to play SH3 i use TC around 128. For a long time before this current career i maxed out on TC and was cruising. But i read that if u lower ur TC then ur more likely to spot ships and aircraft. Now going about 128 for TC im running into ships and convoys a lot more which is great. But i want to spot some planes and get some real excitment. Now i know in reallife having a plane over heard especially an enemy plane would cause panic and chaos. So Im asking u guys wat should i do to solve this problem?

tc 128 is fine . if you want aircraft go between scotland and north of scapa.
and yes using high tc means you will miss loads

in an earlier career i was going to attack the Port of Alexandria in the Med and was spotted by a Hurricane. So i took it out with my AA guns, then another Hurricane came, took that out, then one of those Search and Rescue planes with the DPs on it came and almost took me out, then awhole bunch of DDs and Flowers came in to finish me off. I was going about 536 TC when the first Hurricane was reported, must have been lucky.:hmm::hmm:

I got one career in about Oct43 and those Allied planes are every where. My crew have just got time to put the rubbish out and have a good fart before we crash dive fyet a again.

Bay of Biscay

Pretty bad from Summer of 1942 onward.

Hellish after May 1943.

I almost run out of battery power every time I cross the bay.

One time I was attacked 10 minutes after I surfaced for 3 days.

My batteries were almost completely drained when I finally broke out into the Atlantic.

I use x512 and x1024 TC.

I use a type IX and to be honest it's really annoying how long these take to submerge when under attack. tried running "decks awash" which is better and safer, but it costs you so much more fuel.

Be happy you've not seen any yet, because when you do...........
